「柔刻 / Soft Imprint」は、築年数を重ねた団地が備える眺望と風合いを受け止め、
時間の層に寄り添いながら住空間を再構成する試みである。
新しさで覆うのではなく、経年が似合うラワンベニアを基調に、ウールカーペットとコルク床の触感を重ねて、
身体に近い“柔らかな基盤”をつくった。
さらに床際や壁面の取り合いにはR（丸み）を与え、直線が生む硬さを和らげながら、光と視線が滞留する余白をつくり出している。
計画の重心は名作テーブル（フリッツ・ハンセンのスーパー楕円）を核とする家具的中心に置き、
行為が自然に集まる座標として空間の秩序を定める。併せて生活の物量を合理的に受け止める価値スペースを確保し、
雑多さが居場所へ滲まないよう整理の器を組み込んだ。
梁のスケールは光として読み替え、選び抜いた照明が陰影を整える。
柔らかさと構成、時間と更新が静かに重なる住まいである。

“Jūkoku / Soft Imprint” is an attempt to recompose a dwelling by accepting the view and patina of an aging housing block and working with its accumulated layers of time. Rather than overwriting the existing character with newness, lauan veneer—selected for how it deepens with age—forms the primary surface, while wool carpet and cork flooring are layered to create a tactile, body-close ground. Rounded radii are introduced where floor and wall meet and along key edges, softening the rigidity of straight lines and generating small pockets where light and sightlines can linger. The spatial center of gravity is set by a furniture anchor—the Fritz Hansen Superellipse table—establishing a clear coordinate from which the overall order is composed. A dedicated “value space” is integrated to rationally receive everyday belongings, preventing visual noise from seeping into places of rest. Existing beams are reinterpreted through light, and carefully chosen fixtures calibrate shadow and atmosphere. Here, softness and structure—time and renewal—quietly overlap.
