煉構──熱によって素材が変容し、空間に新たな秩序が生まれること。
焼成の熱を宿すレンガを独立壁に用い、その重みと質感が空間全体の重心を形づくる。
視線を受け止める壁を軸に、ロフトや小上がりが立体的に構成され、家族4人がそれぞれの居場所と収納を持つ、ひとつながりの1ROOMが実現した。
中間階という条件と外壁の断熱性が、広がりのある空間の快適性を下支えする。
設えは住まい手の趣味や感性を受け止める器として抑制を効かせ、素材同士の関係性が空間に静かな輪郭を与えている。

Apartment Renovation / Floor Area: 112.11㎡

Thermal Composition — the idea that heat transforms materials and brings new order to space.
Fired brick, with its inherent warmth and weight, is used as a freestanding wall that anchors the spatial composition.
Centered around this tactile element, lofts and raised platforms create a layered, one-room layout where a family of four can each have their own place and ample storage.
The unit’s location on a middle floor, along with high-performance insulation on exterior walls, ensures thermal comfort across the open plan.
The overall design remains restrained, serving as a neutral vessel for the residents’ tastes and sensibilities, while the interplay of materials quietly defines the spatial boundaries.
